Daniel Andrews Has Been Nominated For Political Leader Of The Year
Russell Duance, a 37-year-old diesel mechanic from South Australia, had viewers in a frenzy over his bespectacled resemblance to Dan Andrews, with one Twitter posting: “Anyone else think Russel looks like Dan Andrews?”
Another added: “Did Dan Andrews just walk into the set of MAFS?!”

According to his Channel Nine bio, Russell is described as a ‘quintessential Aussie larrikin’ who is most happy when he’s ‘downing a beer and eating a steak’.
Apparently, he also once proposed to a stranger on holidays, with their marriage lasting just one year. That is exactly the sort of uncomfortable spontaneity you’d expect from a contestant willing to marry a (likely very mismatched) stranger on national television.
